  • wings v1 tutorial

    What you'll need:
  • One of the Photoshop Programs
  • wings brush

  • You'll be making something like:

    The Steps

    1. Define the wing brush I provided (or use your own). Place it wherever you want it on your sign. I'm putting it a little bit behind my text in color #2b2b2b. My sign is cropped for tutorial purposes.

    2. Hold in the CTRL key on your keyboard and click the little thumbnail (preview thing) of the wing layer. It should have selected the wing on your sign. Click "Select >> Modify >> Expand." Expand by 1-3 pixels. I'm expanding by 2. Click "Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Gradient >> ok." Choose your gradient and make the angle what ever you think looks best. My angle is at 26. Drag the gradient layer under the wing layer.
