cutout preview tutorial

You'll be making something like:


The Steps

1. Open whatever cutout preview psd you're using. I'm using this one. Open the cutout.

2. Resize the cutout to whatever you want it to be to fit the preview psd. I'm making mine 100x133.


3. Use the Move Tool to move the cutout to the preview psd's document. (click the cutout layer and drag it into the other document)


4. Add a 2px white stroke.


5. Create a new layer, merge them together. Add a 1px stroke with a scanline pattern. this (click here) is the one I use. Add a dropshadow.


6. Sharpen it! (Filter >> Sharpen >> Sharpen)
